After the aluminum plate is bent, it is easy to break, or it will burst after anodizing after being bent. Many sheet metal processing enterprises are confused. How can it not break?

First of all, let's take a look at some of the main reasons and precautions that cause the aluminum plate to break after bending:

1. The hardness of the aluminum plate.

The hardness of the aluminum plate is too high and it is easy to break. This requires the choice of aluminum, mainly to look at the aluminum grade and status. Generally, the 1 series, 3 series, and 5 series are more commonly used; the hardness of the 6 series and 7 series is too high, and it is necessary to do the annealing treatment to the O state before bending. There is also the quality of the aluminum plate, the same type of aluminum plate imported material is not easy to crack than the domestic material, but the price of the material is also a lot more expensive.

2. The thickness of the aluminum plate.

The aluminum plate that is too thick is not easy to bend. As soon as you think about it, you should use a thinner aluminum plate.

3. Bend the size of the R angle.

The greater the bending R angle, the higher the success rate, so try to increase the bending angle and the larger the R angle.

4. Aluminum plate grain direction.

The direction of the bend should be perpendicular to the direction of the aluminum plate and not parallel.

5. The aluminum plate parts that need to be drawn are preferably bent and then pulled in the case where the process permits, otherwise the probability of bending fracture will increase.

If the above aspects are well handled, the problem of bending and fracture of the aluminum plate will be better solved.
