The aluminum coil is a metal product for the flying shear after the casting mill has been subjected to calendering and drawing. Aluminum coils are widely used in electronics, packaging, construction, machinery, etc. There are many aluminum coil production enterprises in China, and the production process has caught up with developed countries. However, in the manufacture of aluminum coils, it is inevitable that some quality defects will be encountered. What are the common quality defects of aluminum coils?


1. Composite layer shedding: irregular defects formed by the aluminum-clad layer of the composite material leaving the substrate and falling off.


2, embossing: due to strip wrinkles, broken strips and other reasons caused by irregular chromatic aberration of the roll surface during the rolling process is printed on the surface of the strip chromatic aberration phenomenon.


3. Wave: A general term for various unevenness phenomena caused by uneven deformation of plates and strips. The wave generated by the plate and the edge is called the edge wave, the wave generated in the middle is called the middle wave, and the wave between the middle and the edge which is neither in the middle nor on both sides is called the two-rib wave, which is small in size and usually The circular waves are called broken waves.


4. Warping: After rolling or shearing, the edge of the strip is lifted.


5, side bending: the longitudinal side of the plate, the belt presents a non-flat state of bending to a side.


6. Collapse: The core of the coil is severely deformed, and the roll is not round.


7. Staggered layer: Irregularly displaced between the end layer and the layer of the strip, resulting in uneven end surface.


8. Tower shape: The belt layer and the layer are swayed to one side to form a tower-like offset.


9. Loose roll: Looseness between layers and layers during winding and unwinding, which affects the entire roll in severe cases.


10. Bird's nest: A local "V" type defect is produced on the end face of the coil. This defect is generated during or after the coil take-up process, and some are generated after a certain period of time.
